Solo Wild Camping in Madeira – 7 Days of Freedom, Fear & Adventure

At the beginning of May 2022, I went to Madeira to fulfill one of my greatest dreams: wild camping for one week straight.

👉 The plan at the beginning was to take my ultralight tent (okay, my sister’s tent), as much food as my backpack could fit, and spend the week living off-grid in the most epic sceneries of Madeira. Away from crowds. Well, almost off the grid. I still had to charge the batteries of my video gear.
