On Friday August 4th, 1939 Glenn Miller and his Orchestra continued their engagement at the Glen Island Casino in New Rochelle, New York. They broadcast a radio show that night on the NBC radio network which included: “Slip Horn Jive”, “The Lamp Is Low” (vocal: Ray Eberle), My Isle Of Golden Dreams” and “King Porter Stomp”. They would continue playing at the Glen Island until August 23rd, 1939.
