The journey to Oshkosh 2025 started in French Valley, California, with a plan to make steady progress east in the Aeronca Chief. What we didn’t plan for? Flying tight formation just to mooch off another plane’s Starlink connection — and then getting stuck in Wilcox, AZ overnight because of a storm over the pass.
This is the low and slow way to Oshkosh, full of the unexpected challenges and camaraderie that make general aviation so special.
