Famous for their simple yet effective performance, Honda stepped further into the Integra's sporty feel found in the Si and SiR and amped it up with the Type R package. With this, this 1996 Honda Integra Type R DB8 provided one of the best platforms for a daily use sedan that can feel like a racecar with no worry of unreliability. With a sleeker look than the lower trim models, thanks to an updated front end, a stunning set of colors available for it be painted in, including the fan-favorite Championship White, and that iconic rear wing, the DB8 ITR still stands far out from the other sedans available at the time.

Looks aren't the only thing the Integra has going for it. Under the hood, the naturally aspirated 1.8 liter B18C pushed over 100HP per liter at 197 total. This in combination with a short ratio 5 speed manual transmission, a light weight build construction, an 8400 RPM redline and a Limited Slip Diff means that pushing this sporty sedan is as rewarding in feel as it is in sound. Thanks to Honda's famous VTEC system, major power kicks in at 5800 RPM and keeps going until redline, drawing plenty of power with no need for forced induction, and also helps to keep fuel economy great when driving in the city. Only minorly modified, this B18's intake has been replaced with a Top Fuel Zero 1000 Intake enhancing that famous sound of VTEC the Type R is known for.

Inside, both the DB8 and DC2 Type R have created a lasting legacy of what a JDM sports car interior should look like. With Recaro bucket seats as standard, a heavy stainless shift knob, Type R badged floor mats and a driver focused dashboard and gauge cluster, the DB8 is just as easy to daily as it is to power through with on the backroads. Thanks to aftermarket Largus coilovers, Falken tires and a Nardi steering wheel, this particular Integra Type R provides a planted feeling to the road without any of the harshness found in other track oriented sports cars.

Outside, this Integra is a real Honda enthusiasts' dream. Practically untouched, the exterior Championship White gloss shines bright with no visible defects, and is even further enhanced by the matching white OEM wheels. Modifications are limited and the Type R decals have been replaced with new OEM decals to give this DB8 that stunning, fresh-off-the-showroom-floor look.

If you're looking for the equivalent of a Unicorn in the world of Hondas, look no further.
