About Neomi:

Neomi is a Cretan lyre player and composer. After studying for several years on western instruments - clarinet and guitar, Neomi began to be exposed and drawn into the world of traditional eastern music and bow instrument. In 2016, she came to the Ross Daly School of Traditional Music in Crete, in order to learn the art of playing the lyre from one of the most respected musicians and teachers in the world, Kelly Thoma, from whom she still studies today.
Naomi is a member and creates original music in the group Tavera.

About the piece:
Anastatica (in its official name - the real Rose of Jericho) is a desert plant that symbolizes "rebirth".
Most of the time its branches are stiff as a tree and contracted like a clenched fist, thus preserving the seeds. When the plant gets wet during a flood or heavy rain, its branches unfurl and release the seeds to their new destiny, and the plant changes its shape to soft and green.

קחו 10 דקות הפסקה הוא פרויקט חינמי בחסות "פרונט צילום" ובהפקתה. מטרת העל של הפרויקט היא חשיפה למוזיקאים ותיעוד איכותי בצורת וידאו ליצירה מקורית. מטרה נוספת (וחשובה לא פחות) היא להעניק כבוד לנוף והטבע הישראלי, לעתיקות, לאתרי המורשת החשובים ולעודד שימור והאדרה שלהם.

מוזמנים לקחת 10 דקות מהשגרה, להשיל את הדאגות (כמיטב היכולת), להגביר את הווליום ולהישטף בצלילים.

קצת על נעמי:
נעמי היא נגנית לירה כרתית ומלחינה. לאחר לימודים של מספר שנים על כלים מערביים - קלרינט וגיטרה, החלה נעמי להיחשף ולהישאב אל תוך עולם המוזיקה המזרחית המסורתית וכלי הקשת. בשנת 2016הגיעה אל בית הספר למוזיקה מסורתית של רוס דיילי אשר בכרתים, על מנת ללמוד את אומנות הנגינה על לירה מאחת הנגניות והמורות המוערכות בעולם Kelly Thoma ,אשר ממנה לומדת עד היום.
נעמי חברה ויוצרת מוסיקה מקורית בהרכב "תבערה".

על היצירה:
אנסטטיקה (ובשמה הרשמי - שושנת יריחו האמיתית) היא צמח מדברי המסמל "תחייה מחדש".
רוב הזמן ענפיו נוקשים כעץ ומכווצים כאגרוף קמוץ וכך שומרים על הזרעים. משנרטב הצמח בזמן שיטפון או גשם חזק מתפשקים ענפיו ומשחררים את הזרעים לגורלם החדש, והצמח משנה צורתו לגמיש וירוק.
