AS Level Maths Past Paper Items on Normal Distribution [Part 2] | Statistics 1 Exam Review Materials

This video is a second collection of Cambridge AS/A Level Probability & Statistics 1 (9709) past paper items on normal distribution. The collection contains items about normal distribution in worded problem-type and in tabular form. Further, it includes items involving the mean and variance of normal distribution. The items are with varying difficulty and involves various experiments. The items also include the probability of normal distribution using the standard normal distribution table. It also includes items on normal approximations to binomial distributions. Some items require the use of the continuity correction as adjustment for the normal approximations.

This is usually taught in class 10 (grade 10 maths) or class 11.

The source of the items is also given in the video. I would recommend you to answer the items on the normal distributions first by your own, then check on the answer key afterwards. In this way, you can check which items about normal distribution you need to study more. It may give you the idea to study more on determining keywords leading to normal distribution, as well as the correct way of dealing with given conditions in the problem.
