This propane lantern comes from Mexico, and mounts right to a propane bottle. It's never been fired, but let's fix that!
At the risk of spoiling the video a bit, turns out that Thorium was not (lol!) getting blown off the mantle, but rather the propane was overburning the mantle and therefore not generating enough heat to make the mantle incandesce.
