📍 48 Hours in Quito, Ecuador – An Unforgettable Start to South America 🇪🇨
Join me as I kick off my solo South America adventure in Quito, Ecuador – a city full of dramatic landscapes, rich culture, and surprising stories.

🗓️ Day 1:
I started with one of the best views of my life, riding the TelefériQo cable car up into the clouds for insane panoramic scenes of the Andes mountains. Then I explored a colorful local market, followed by a visit to the stunning Basilica del Voto Nacional – the largest neo-Gothic church in the Americas!

🗓️ Day 2:
I joined the best walking tour I’ve ever done, diving deep into the history of Quito and Ecuador. From colonial architecture to political revolutions, I learned so much about the people and culture here. I wrapped up the day at the Middle of the World (Mitad del Mundo) – literally standing on the equator.

💬 I also shared some thoughts about safety in Ecuador, especially from a solo traveler’s perspective — what felt safe, what to be aware of, and tips for anyone planning a visit.
