From the New York Transit Museum archives, a 1973 film on construction projects at the MTA.
Part one features the building of the 63 St Tunnel and its connections to the Broadway and Sixth Avenue subway lines beneath Central Park. This double-level tunnel is currently used by the F subway line and will also allow LIRR trains to serve Grand Central Terminal when the East Side Access project is completed.
