Quilting 101: How to Add Quilt Borders

Hi everyone! I'm back today with another video in my "How to Quilt" series. I'll be showing you how to add decorative borders to your quilted projects!

Borders are a really easy way to add visual interest and increase the size of your quilted projects as well. Though there are a few different ways to add borders, today I'll be showing you how to add a simple straight border. You can also do mitered borders, but we won't be covering that in today's video.

If you're interested here are the sizes of the borders I created in this video. Of course you can make your borders any size you like!

Border 1 (Green Fabric): 2” x WOF
Border 2 (Red Fabric): 1” x WOF
Border 3 (Grey Print Fabric): 4” x WOF
