The prince is tricked, falls into thorns, and loses his sight. For years he wanders in grief, searching for the voice he loves. Meanwhile, Rapunzel survives in the desert, protecting the children she raises with patience and courage. And when the prince finally hears her song again on the desert wind, love leads him home—until Rapunzel’s tears heal his eyes, and they find each other at last.
