ModelMuse is a versatile software that helps us with the creation of MODFLOW input files, running the model and the visualization of simulation outputs. These results give us a valuable amount of information that, by analysing it correctly, can be used to take management decisions regarding the sustainable use of aquifers. These analysis encompass many different types of information which complement the groundwater modelling results.
A way of studying this data is using geographic information systems like QGIS where we can import different layers which represent the variables that influence the decisions.
In this tutorial we will show you how to insert ModelMuse simulation outputs into QGIS to encourage a better analysis of these results which can lead to a broader vision of the problem being studied and, in consequence, foment to make better decisions.
