The Magnificent Baling 100 km

This was the second race of my challenge — running three ultratrails on three consecutive weekends. This time I went to Malaysia to take part in The Magnificent Baling 100 km, with an elevation gain of about 3,000 meters.

The race turned out to be really tough, especially on the background of fatigue after the previous 140 km trail in Thailand (CM6). But the most extreme moment happened at night, when my headlamp battery completely died, and I found myself running almost blind in the jungle, barely seeing where to step.

Still, I managed to finish the race, pushing through exhaustion and darkness.
