1/48 TAMIYA Douglas Skyraider A-1J USM Korean War - Timelapse Build

In our next build let´s try our hands on the 1/48th scale iconic Skyraider from Tamiya.

Assembly was easy and straight forward, not much sanding needed and the provided decals were also ok.
The additional Eduard PE kit I used for some cockpit parts and the tail wheel.
The EuroDecals were also of good quality and went onto the airplane well.
The mask was from Kitmasx Canada, do check them out if you intend to build Tamiya and Hasegawa kits, as well as others.

You could and should probably assemble it completely before priming.
I used black primer, then a three color modulation of dark sea blue gloss, followed by a three color pinwash for the panel lines, and finished it off by a brownish oil wash also for the panel lines.
The final varnish was a VMS matt coat.
