♦ Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 : Seasons - Fall

Hey there! This is a brief comparison on what I'd consider the most important aspects on Fall in The Sims Seasons expansion.

This is the third season I'm comparing so one more to go! I hope I didn't let anything important out but I'm sure I might have missed some small details so do let me know which those were.

Fall is pretty similar throughout the games in therms of weather and world aspects but what separates them the most is the festivities and activities fall introduces. Let me know which one you thought was best.

My opinion?

Sims 2 established the basics of fall, with leaves falling and the yellow tones in the trees, it did a good job with it but it felt short in activities, there's not a single activity dedicated to fall outside of raking leaves so from a game-play perspective it was the weakest.

Sims 3 followed Sims 2 in the basics and added to it a lot, it created not only a festival but a holiday and added new activities to go on par with this. I like that unlike the other 2 games, sims 3 introduced Halloween themes in that same expansion instead of introducing it in stuff packs (Spooky Stuff and Holiday Stuff)

Sims 4 again used the same basic Sims 2 established, it added a lot more depth to the recurring scarecrow so that was a pleasant surprise but I would've liked it more if he had special abilities since the other games introduced a life-stage. I really liked HarvestFest not because of the meal or thankful spirit but the gnomes, they're a fun aspect of that holiday.

So if I HAD to pick one I'd say Sims 3 but I liked other aspects in the games, fall was beautiful in Sims 4 and I liked some aspects like the scarecrow but I had the most fun with Sims 3.
