In today’s vlog, we are taking you on a local sightseeing tour of Varanasi. Our first stop is the New Kashi Vishwanath Temple, located inside the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus. This beautiful temple, spread over a huge area, is also known as Shri Vishwanath Mandir, Vishwanath Mandir, Vishwanath Temple, New Vishwanath Temple, or the Birla Temple. It is one of the most prominent temples in the holy city of Varanasi.
After that, we will be taking you on the Alaknanda Cruise, which starts from Ravidas Ghat. They operate 4 cruises in total, and the ticket charges are as follows:
🚢 Bhagirathi – ₹700 & ₹900
🚢 Alaknanda – ₹1000
🚢 Swami Vivekanand – ₹1000
🚢 Manekshaw – ₹1000
We had booked the Bhagirathi cruise, but due to the rise in the water level of River Ganga, we were shifted to the Swami Vivekanand cruise at no extra cost.
The cruise ride is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. During the journey, they show you the famous Assi Ghat and also the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, performed on the banks of the sacred River Ganga. 🌊✨
