VEGAN LAVENDER CAKE RECIPE:
-Beautiful by Drew Barrymore Stand Mixer https://go.shopmy.us/p-5061364
-2 Boxes Betty Cocker Yellow Cake https://go.shopmy.us/p-5061327
-3 Duncan Hines Dolly Parton Buttercream Frosting https://go.shopmy.us/p-5061349
-2 tbs food grade lavender https://amzn.to/4boUkI2
-1 Cup extra virgin olive oil
-1 Cup water
-1 Cup Simple Truth Original Soy Milk
-5 TBS Flour
-1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
-Cake Decorating Turntable Stand https://amzn.to/3QIkEF3
-Offset cake spatula for frosting https://amzn.to/3JWRAG0
-6 TBS Simple Truth Egg Replacer (+12 TBS water, pinch of ground flax seed). Let sit 1 min then add:
-1/2 Cup sugar to egg replacer.
DIRECTIONS:
-Preheat oven to 350°
-Grease (3) 9 inch pans with vegan butter using a paper towel then flour them. Tap off access flour
-Follow ORDER of adding ingredients from back of box but with ABOVE measurements. Sift everything. Mix using stand mixer on low (level 1). Keep machine going entire time as you add ingredients but don’t overbeat. All ingredients should be ready to add before you start. Once everything is added, blast on high for 6-7 seconds to fully combine. Turn off machine.
-DIVIDE into your 3 pans. Lift each pan and drop on counter once to remove any air bubbles.
BAKE:
-At 350° for 30-35 minutes
-LET COOL for 15 minutes in pan then slide a long bread knife across top of each cake and remove excess to level the top
-Remove cakes from pans and let cool on cooling rack for another 30 minutes until completely cooled
-Turn each cake upside down, FROST with Duncan Hines Dolly Parton Buttercream frosting, layer, repeat, decorate and enjoy!
-Serve with vegan Wicked Vanilla Ice Cream
