2025 Lexus GX Overtrail+ REVIEW - Is This The BEST Luxury SUV?

👋 In todays review we get to take a look at the all new 2025 Lexus GX550! This is a highly anticipated luxury focused suv from Lexus that a lot of people have been waiting for! This 2025 Lexus GX550 is the Overtrail, so one of the two top trim levels that offers a lot of offroad technology. There are also a total of six different trim levels to choose from with the rest of the linup offering a third row option! The 2025 Lexus GX550 will have two variants as well including a GX550h which should be coming later this year! The 2025 Lexus GX550 is a mid/full size SUV that is luxury focused and built for a lot of capabilities!
The exterior for this Lexus GX550 has a boxy and bold look! It mimics the original versions with the modern twist and has great proportions all around! The 2025 Lexus GX550 Overtrail comes with cameras, fixed side steps, a rear glass that opens individually from the lift gate and roof racks! The interior for this 2025 Lexus GX550 has some nice materials with the leather seats and all the trim accents! It really gives you that luxury vibe and also provides you with a lot of standard safety technology!
Driving the all new 2025 Lexus GX550 was great! This is so comfortable and quiet, the suspension is great! You can feel some of the body roll, but it's not bad for the stock suspension. The power is good and the exhaust sounds good with a minor acceleration! Being my first time behind the wheel, I was very impressed with it's overall drive. You sit high up, great view all around. The digital camera for the rear view is an option and standard on higher trim levels, so that's nice to see! But very nice and I could see this being a great daily driver and one that is practical and very capable for being an SUV and providing you with a great platform! Lexus did a great job and the demand for this SUV has been crazy! Just at my local dealer alone, I've seen well over twenty people and the dealer has a wait list of more than 100! Also this GX550 has a locking differential in the center and a full time four wheel drive system. The interior is modern with the newest screens and tech, but is still simple to use like a Lexus should be. While this has synthetic leather it feel very nice and should be pretty durable. I love how boxy it feels and that roofline gives the GX a cool interior feeling! The dash is very flat and easy to see, but allows for a great view out the windshield. The hood even dips down in the center so you can see the trail ahead and the large bulges on the side help you place the GX550 off road. For sure the new 2025 Lexus GX is going to be a popular luxury SUV and gain traction like any Range Rover or Mercedes G wagon as an off road luxury SUV thats super desirable! I can see buying a new Land Cruiser, and then when I want more luxury, going for the GX550 as my family SUV!
