Chéticamp is one of the most picturesque stops on the famous Cabot Trail on Cape Breton island. A traditional Acadian fishing village turned into a regional hub, nestled on the west side of the island, a few hours away from Sydney and right next to the most dramatic and jaw-dropping views of the scenic route. Chéticamp is the largest Francophone enclave on Cape Breton Island, even though sadly I didn't hear any French language during my stay in town, maybe I didn't hit the right places. Yet certainly it carries the Acadian heritage with the flags and symbols all around. Hope you'll enjoy my short video tour and it'll influence you to come experience Chéticamp!
