Today is my first day in Indonesia and I'm showing my first impressions of Jakarta. Jakarta is not only Indonesia's capital, but also the largest city in Southeast Asia!
My first time in Jakarta is extremely pleasant. I walked around the central district along green boulevards with government offices and the national monument (Monas).
I also entered the Istiqlal Mosque, which was reaching the brink of its capacity on this Friday during Ramadan. Ramadan in Indonesia as a foreigner is an added challenge to my stay here.
