Marta Arpini (IT) presents a new repertoire of original songs that's like an ancient chant and a breath of fresh air at the same time. Her main projects are Marta Arpini Forest Light, a jazz-pop quintet, tiigre, dream pop/indie rock band, and her new intriguing electro-pop, avant synth folk solo - in collaboration with producer Radio Trapani.

Marta's debut album "Forest Light" (2019, Challenge Records International) was nominated to the Edison Jazz/World 2020; in November 2020 Marta Arpini Forest Light won the Keep an Eye The Records 2020. Marta also actively collaborates with different bands and creatives, both in the Netherlands and in Italy, such as Fuensanta Méndez, Laura Polence, Molino, I Am a Fish, and more.

In this beautiful setting, we were lucky enough to witness, Marta's fantasy and writing depict a sort of imaginary folk, where lullabies and sophisticated harmonies come together, and the boundaries between the inner and outside world become blurred. Everything that's sung and played unfolds like a diary. Looking through a crystal clear lens, she tells personal and universal stories, filled with wonder and a sense of intimacy. Both the acoustic setting and the electric nuances create an intensely emotional soundscape, where every detail is a fundamental part of the entire narration.
