Trail running and scrambling up Greyrock Mountain in the beautiful Poudre Canyon is one of my favorite outings in the Fort Collins area. This video shows a route that I pieced together over many laps and explorations up this mountain. It's sort of like a headier version of the commonly known "weenie route", as it starts at a much more technical grade of 5.6. If you're in the area and are comfortable soloing 5.6, I highly recommend giving it a try! The rock is of incredible quality and the movement is very fun and unique. This is truly one of the most aesthetic and technical scrambling routes anywhere in the Fort Collins area, even anywhere in the Northern Front Range!
