Here are some scenes from Amtrak's northbound 'Hoosier State', train #851. Beginning just outside downtown Indianapolis at dawn, and ending at Chicago Union Station later in the morning, several of the most railfan-worthy places are highlighted. Indianapolis, Lafayette, Renssalaer, Monon, Dyer and Munster, Indiana; and South Holland, Dolton and Chicago, Illinois are some of the towns and cities where this was recorded. Captions give detail about the locations and connecting railroads.
