We Are “That Kind” of Church
Matthew 17:14–21

What kind of church are we? We are that kind of church.

The kind of church that believes in prayer and fasting.
The kind of church that knows God is not done with us yet.
The kind of church that understands He is a generational God.

In Matthew 17, a desperate father brings his son to the disciples, but they couldn’t help. Jesus steps in, rebukes the demon, and heals the boy instantly. When the disciples ask why they couldn’t do it, Jesus says, “Because of your little faith…” and reminds them that even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. But this kind only comes out by prayer and fasting.

We are that kind of church:

✅ That Kind of Church That Confronts the Impossible.
We believe God specializes in things that seem impossible. We don’t avoid impossible situations; we confront them with faith, knowing nothing is too hard for God.

✅ That Kind of Church That Contends for the Miraculous.
We believe God still heals, delivers, and moves in power. We don’t settle for what is; we contend for what could be, believing for miracles in our homes, families, and communities.

✅ That Kind of Church That Conquers Mountains in the Name of Jesus.
Whatever mountain stands in your way—doubt, sickness, lack, stress—we believe it can move. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit.

For the next 40 days, we are stepping into a season of prayer and fasting, believing God to move mountains in your life.

We will be That Kind of Church—the kind that doesn’t just talk about faith but confronts impossibility, contends for the miraculous, and conquers mountains, not in our own name, but in the name of Jesus.
