Highlights of the Thursday Night Chase at Hawick Common Riding 2024.
This night sees the Acting Father lead the Chase before he recieves his official badge of office in The Hut. Also in The Hut, speeches are made to the Cornet, the Common Riding and the Acting Father of 25yrs ago, as well as the Ordering of Curds and Cream ready for next week's main event. There is also plenty singing!
The music in this video is Carla Porter singing "I Like Auld Hawick", from the 2021 Virtual Common Riding.
