This month's challenge is to "safely" turn a winged piece. Although I suggested this month's challenge, and even demonstrated making winged bowls at my local club this past January, that did not make me immune to catastrophic events. But if at first you do not succeed, aim even higher next time.
Cover tool: 1" (1/4" thick) square-end negative rake scraper (reground from a Ashley Iles "shear" scraper)
