On the 15th of June, a few hundred hardy individuals took part in one of the most unusual running events in the country, The Seven Hills of Edinburgh — a combination of road-running, cross-country, hill-running, and urban orienteering... 14.3 miles in length and with 2200 feet of ascent/descent.
The winner of the race was Jack Eykelbosch (COR) in 1:39:04
2nd was last year's winner, Julian Barrable (COR), and 3rd was Stuart Paterson of Ochil Hill Runners.
The female winner was Isla Cubitt in 2:07.21
2nd was Isabella Ellwood (EAC), and 3rd was Suzie Robinson (HBT).
The M50 trophy was won by Ken Speirs (COR), with the M60 prize being taken by Alan Hogg (Carnethy) , and the M70 prize by Jimmy Hudson.
The F45 trophy was won by Elaine Baxter, with the F55 prize being taken by Julia Sanders.
1st team : Corstorphine Ross or Ken Shufflers; 2nd : Hindle's Beloved Trotters.
Best women's team: Hardly Bothered Training
