In this, the first episode of Aussie Twitching, I head to South-east Queensland to find and photograph 10 birds I’ve never seen before.

3. Mangrove Honeyeater - Lichenostomus fasciogularis
4. White-eared Monarch - Carterornis leucotis
5. Marbled Frogmouth - Podargus ocellatus
6. Albert’s Lyrebird - Menura alberti
7. Rufous Scrubbird - Atrichornis rufescens
8. Eastern Ground Parrot - Pezoporus wallicus
9. Black-breasted Buttonquail - Turnix melanogaster
10. King Quail - Excalfactoria chinensis
