Summary

Tadano is making his way towards school, thinking about how ordinary he is, so ordinary that he gets excited when crossing the street. However, one interesting thing about him is that he's friend with the most beautiful girl in school, Komi-San. As he thinks this, a mysterious figure emerges behind him with pointed hands outstretched...

Yamai Ren is making her way towards school, thinking about how ordinary she is, she dislikes studying, likes fashion, and has lots of friends who make her happy. Right now, she has a crush on the most beautiful girl in school, Komi-San. She thinks about various mundane actions Komi does while walking close behind her, before abruptly squealing and twitching in ecstasy. She quickly composes herself before following Komi again. As they walk, a strand of Komi's hair falls to the ground, Yamai rapidly goes to the ground to pick it up and swirls it in her mouth with her tongue in a disturbing manner. She zip-lock bags the hair and decides to greet Komi.

She steps forward, but Agari quickly rushes in front and enthusiastically greets Komi, like a dog. Agari glances back, seeing Yamai with an enraged and hateful expression. Agari fearfully excuses herself and bolts away as Yamai mutters to herself. Yamai tries again as she is interrupted by Najimi, she gives them a death glare while holding pencils as weapons, but instantly sweetens when Najimi looks back. Yamai steps forwards and greets Komi (victory!).

Komi doesn't reciprocate, instead staring fearfully at Yamai, but Yamai is unperturbed, thinking that Komi looks lovely, and that her being ignored makes Yamai happy. Yamai casually (but ominously) asks a confused Najimi to talk around a corner.
