This is the original 30th November 1950 recording with the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra conducted by Renato Cellini.
It is newly restored to give a fuller ,more spacious sound with a concert atmosphere to ,perhaps, give an impression of being present at the performance and watching these wonderful singers create their musical magic.
