Pollyanna (I Believe in You) - Super Smash Bros. Brawl OST

This track is a soft rock remix of "Pollyanna (I Believe in You)" from "EarthBound Beginnings," where it plays as the overworld theme when Ninten does not have any partners accompanying him and when he reaches the XX Stone atop Mt. Itoi. A rendition of the song appears in Earthbound inside Ness' house, and in Mother 3 near the end of the game when the party takes a boat ride through the Hall of Memories inside Porky's Empire Porky Building, as they pass items from the previous game. It is considered the series' unofficial theme. The song primarily leads with piano and keyboards, but incorporates other instruments such as strings, a trumpet, flute, and harmonica. As with Smash 4, this track is abridged, and specifically loops after the 1:46 mark and cuts the remainder of the track.

It is regarded by several fans as the series' unofficial main theme. A whimsical remix of Pollyanna "(I Believe In You)," this track is taken directly from Melee, where it was known as "Mother 2". However, the track has been shortened for SSB4, looping after the 1:46 mark instead of the 3:03 mark as in Smash Bros. Melee and Smash Bros. Brawl. In EarthBound Beginnings, the song would play in numerous parts of the game such as one of the overworld themes (Alongside Bein' Friends). The song would also play when Ninten reaches the XX Stone atop Mt. Itoi.

This track is a quaint, soft rock remix of the "Pollyanna (I Believe in You)" theme from NES game, EarthBound Beginnings. The music piece first played on any overworld area while Ninten was on his own. As soon as Ninten gains an ally to walk with, the music will change to "Bein' Friends." This track has been directly ported from Super Smash Bros. Melee.
