SNAILFLY 2023 TUCSON ROOF RACK INSTALLATION

Let me say from the get go that I could have easily given this Snailfly 260 LBS Roof Rack for my 2023 Hyundai Tucson 5 stars if not for the problems I encountered with some of the mounting hardware.

THE GOOD:
1) All parts are well made and fit together easily.
2) The Aluminum parts are well extruded and coatings seem to be good and do not scratch easily.
3) All screws and nuts are stainless steel.
4) The parts that grip onto the rails of you Tucson are nicely rubber coated.
5) Easy assembly if all parts are in spec.

THE BAD:
1) Whoever did the final assembly on my end pieces cross threaded the nuts on the gripper piece. It was a bear to get it off and I have included photos. It was extremely hard to re-thread since 2 screws are so close to each other.
2) One of the locks constantly spins and it was extremely hard to remove the Key.

Other than the 2 bad points, if I would have gotten all good components this item could have easily gotten 5 stars.
