Tri Tip Brisket... a better brisket thats NOT actually brisket? Kamado Joe Jr Brisket Tri Tip

Smaller grills like the Kamado Joe Jr can't fit an entire packer brisket, and small grocery store briskets often come out WAY too dry. So does tri tip make a better brisket on a small grill than brisket itself? To find out, I prepped a 3lbs Wagyu Tri Tip like a brisket with just salt, pepper and smoke for seasoning to find out if you're actually better off smoking a tri tip like a brisket rather than brisket itself.
