I rarely recorded video run xmax with any HC Dungeons because how stupid lagging here, it's even more lagging and stuttering than the xmax route i do alot. Recorded this video to show that i don't uploaded video about this crap dungeons or Atlantis, EE dlc, Tartarus content because it's stupid lagging that don't really showed the true potential of the builds but control abilities.
This Greece HC Dungeon scale the power of enemies very unbalanced, melee enemies there can shred character HP faster than range enemies like atleast 2 or 3 time which is stupid. It's even more dangerous when enemies cast Study Preys skill to debuffed character resistances which transform any enemies the become killing machine. Xmax custom map spawn more enemies mean more trouble, and with 8curses it's even more crazy :D.
8 Curses active reduced character resistance greatly (-100% for all main res at 1st tab of character screen except Physical and Pierce res, those 2 res and all resistances + Life Leech resistance get -50%). So gears build must focus for resistance more than play with xmax non curses (which i always did before), mean less dmg output as exchange. With not "decent" resistances all over place like that, control abilitie + use skill wisely is the key to finished this type of challenge.
Heart of Oak: for lot of more health, procs reduced energy cost and elemental res, some total speed boost.
+Sanctuary (Briar Ward) for more survival abillities with dmg absorption + health regen, and support (reduced energy cost).
Plague line for applied reduced Physical, Elemental and Poison res. I don't invest to Fatigue because reduced enemies dmg mean reduced reflect dmg back to them = slower killing speed.
Colossus Form: Great dmg absorption, combine with Sanctuary + Perfect Block just ultimate combo for survive this madness Dungeon with Xmax custom map.
Resistance is just a layer of defense in Titan Quest, character can reduced dmg taken by use other defense layer like "Less dmg from monster race", dmg absortion, reduced enemies dmg... This character is reflect one so i don't use reduced dmg effect of Fatigue skill (upgrade of Plague) because it reduced reflect dmg back to enemies and taken longer to kill them by reflect dmg.


I'm using Tqdefiler to clones character from character save that finished almost quests of Act1 to act5, not enter to Atlantis or Eternal Embers dlc map. Gears are from farming, M.I Shop custommap, edit by hex tool,.. All gears are legitly to game mechanic and farmable (not all legitly farming from me as i said), possible to get in game. If you want to using this gears setup for your build and you don't have as good as these gears setup, you can using gears with less affixes/useful affixes. Of course, it will reduced the build performance, but still good enough if you playing with strategy, better gears will give better performance.
This is my gears build for xmax 8 curses gameplay which much more challenge than single game no mod,if you just playing game with single game no mod you don't need this gears build for safe enough survival abilites and free to do anything with much less powerful gears setup.
In fact, i still limited the gears build for just good enough performance in my opinon, that you can see i just use Occult rings without suffix and SBC with prefix that can be farming quite easily if you want to follow this gears build (this is for fun).
