MapleStory - How To ACTUALLY Train (REG Server)

A general, very basic training guide for regular (REG) server players. READ BELOW for more in depth details.

Keep in mind:

Regular server (Bera, Scania, Elysium, etc. any world that isn't Reboot) has a special game breaking item called Frenzy Totem and Chains of Resentment. They come from various events, including Philosopher's Books. These are items that you can occasionally purchase in the Cash Shop for an RNG (random number generator) chance to pull. However, Frenzy Totem (FZ) no longer is obtainable, and the ones in existence are now extremely expensive and not affordable to the general public. Only a select few people have their own, and only a few people in each server sell their services to the general public (they come into your map after you whisper them and give you frenzied spawn after you pay them mesos).

Recently, the global MapleStory team has released "Chains of Resentment" as an answer to the lack of access of frenzied spawn (FZ). At the time of me recording this video, they go for about 35-50 billion mesos in the Auction House (regular servers only).

This video will teach you how to train and receive 60,000 kills per hour on frenzied/enhanced spawn.

Make sure you're using the Battle Analysis (BA), which is a special button you have to find on your MapleStory keyboard (not your actual physical keyboard).

You want your Sol Janus: Dawn to be a high level. Objectively speaking, it is the most broken mobbing skill in the game that evens the playing field for every class to be on the same level of kill rates and EXP. Believe me, us Dual Blades in regular server were in the deep trenches when it came to getting decent kill rates until this skill came into existence.

Every 10 levels on your Sol Janus: Dawn will give you a huge powerspike in training prowess. Level 10, 20, 30, etc.

You want to prioritize maxing this skill first - each level gives you extra damage to help ensure OHKOs while you grind with it summoned.

At level 20, you will receive the maximum level of balls summoned.

At level 30, you receive a special 30% normal monster damage buff. Passive skill. Ball summoning duration will now be 120 seconds (2 minutes).

If you're new, focus on progressing your character by dumping all of your energy and fragments into Sol Janus. Training with maximum rates is very important. More kills, more money, more EXP, more gains.
