Now that I know my old Ford Pop runs, I will give it a good old tidy-up and change a few parts but before I do, I need to wash off the dust, dirt, and grime that the car has been collecting while sitting in the year for four years.

I then set about tackling a bunch of jobs that caused me to take the car off the road in the first place.

I give my engine, exhaust manifolds and rocker covers a new lease of life.

With so many high-temperature paints on the market, which paint should you use on your engine block, inlet manifold or cylinder heads? I'll show you an easy-to-apply paint that works a treat!

I wrap my exhaust headers with Titanium Exhaust Wrap which will reduce under bonnet temperatures for improved performance, but will help with the problem I have with the starter motor getting too hot.

If you have a problem with exhaust hangers and especially exhaust mounting bobbins, I’ll show you a great alternative.

If your car boot is rusty and you don't know what to do, I'll show you how to remove the rust and freshen it up with Stone Chip Paint.
