THOUGHT PROCESS:

Ever since I learned about SynthV’s existence I’ve wanted to re-cover this song, since I wanted to do something like Itoki Hana’s cover (    • (Vocal cover Remix)Moonstruck Blossom /狂花水...   ) and Bomubomu’s cover (    • ◆修正版【星のカービィ】狂花水月【ヴォーカルアレンジしてみた】   ) but also different since I didn’t want to straight-up copy them.

Most of the instrumentation is just a lazy remake of my other Moonstruck Blossom remix (    • (Kirby: Triple Deluxe Remix) "A Flower" Mo...   ). The only parts I changed are the fact that it’s longer to fit within the pop song structure that I wanted to go for, and the bridge, which is now entirely comprised of “Bloom Nobly, Ink-Black Cherry Blossom” from Touhou 7 as opposed to being different songs from Triple Deluxe.I initially wanted to do something more original-ish for the bridge, but then I had the devilish idea to extend the BNIBCB section… And then that turned into making the entire bridge. Lol whoops. As a result, the final chorus and verses have a key change from the original key.

The lyrics were originally meant to be a conversation between Sectonia and King D-Mind (I swear for the third time, do not ask questions lol, the answer will just confuse you further), but I changed it early on to be a conversation between Sectonia and Kirby because I figured it would result in less questions. (“Why not a conversation between Sectonia and Taranza?” BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE BORING AND PREDICTABLE.) I wanted to test out characterizing both characters but I think only Kirby’s hopeful wish to befriend even their enemies came through in the end. My bad.

Also, this is probably apparent in the song itself, but because I only have Kasane Teto’s voicebank, I can’t exactly have two distinct “voices” for each character… So I tuned her differently between Sectonia’s lines and Kirby’s lines.
