Band weaving demo

Just a quick little video of a new band in process to wet your appetite to maybe learn how to do it yourself in upcoming videos, or just understand the process.
The rigid heddle was purchased on Etsy from a lady in Russia.
The pattern was set up in the setup and automatically appears as the weaving progresses. The pickup stick in this case is the beater.
This piece has 55 threads and is being worked on a backstrap loom which in this case consists of
the back beam which is strapped to a stationary object
Two dowels: one for the front beam, the other to roll it up as progress is made
The backstrap itself: which is a woven piece the length of your hips with braided ends that form a belt. A d-ring was inserted on both sides before the braiding was done and loops were inserted in the d-rings which loop around the front dowel to connect yourself to the project.
