Work Tuff Gear Lanzeta Field Review. THE LANZETA MADE FROM JAPANESE SK85 high carbon tool steel, features a dual temper process and final HRC of 56-58 with a hand ground convex edge. 3D milled G10 scales (optional colors available) keep this 8.2 inch monster in your hands during vigorous activity. The carry system is a well made and designed Kydex sheath with drain hole.

I had this beast out for over 5 days in total, much footage simply not shown but suffice it to say the edge retention was fantastic. Japanese made SK85 is clearly of high quality homogeneity to allow such a good temper and hardness. At 5mm sheet thickness a big knife like this isn't too heavy to cart into the mountains on your side and due to lateral blade geometry, light delicate tasks could be easily achieved (such as cutting mushrooms). Work Tuff Gear, Full marks on this model.
The acid wash vintage finish also adds a certain "coolness" plus some resistance to corrosion (of which i did not see) to this blade.

Correction
BTW I said 9 inches in the video but the blade is 8.2 inches- it's a big knife anyway once over 7 inches LOL!
