Life is full of risks. Accidents are inevitable as soon as we engage in any activity. Every day, extreme
sports athlete Iain Miller is on a mission to avoid danger. In order to prepare for the worst in the best
possible way, there are certain rules for exploring the nature. “Don’t go on dangerous trips alone!” is
probably the most common one, but is it really valid? In his talk, the climber and outdoor adventurer explains how he alters common marine and climbing rules to provide safety in different situations. Iain Miller is a rock climber, guidebook author and hill walker living, working and playing on the sea cliffs, sea stacks, mountain ranges and uninhabited islands of County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland.
