US VP JD Vance, second lady Usha Vance land in Delhi to meet PM Modi; Trade, tariffs on agenda

US Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance arrived in New Delhi on April 21 for a four-day official visit to India. There is a formal meeting scheduled between VP Vance and PM Modi, at 6:30 PM on Monday at the Prime Minister’s residence. Following his discussions with PM Modi in Delhi, JD Vance will visit Jaipur and Agra. His visit to India is set to conclude on Thursday, April 24. According to MEA, the visit is expected to further strengthen the growing bilateral ties between India and the United States.
