Jesse Cotton Stone's childhood roots in a traveling carny family gave him a sense of street theater early on, and it’s made his current incarnation as a blues guitarist/vocalist a joy to see, both on stage and on the streets of Clarksdale, Mississippi during the Juke Joint Festival. His high-energy and funk-laden riffs move audiences wherever he plays, and the late-night/early morning jams he sits in on are always kicked up several notches, no matter the hour.
