This is just a quick video to talk about how important it is to leave a little wiggle room when calculating a solar arrays total VOC.
The temperature coefficient can cause the voltage of a solar panel to rise over the VOC specs on the panel label if certain environmental conditions are met.
Solar panels specs are determined in lab controlled conditions and sometime the real life environment can effect those results.
So if it is 77° and sunny with know clouds you may get reading that come close to matching the panels specs. However if the temperature were to drop and the skies are clear then you may see a sharp voltage rise that may exceed the specs.
