L293D Motor Driver – Controls two DC motors for car movement and braking action.
12V Battery – Primary power supply for the motors.
7805 Voltage Regulator – Provides regulated 5V for Arduino and sensors.
Solar Panel + LED Indicator – Charges the battery and shows solar charging status.
DC Motors (×2) – Drive the car.
Dummy Wheels (×2) – Balance the structure.

⚙️ Methodology
The sensor senses the distance between the vehicle and the coming obstacle. When the distance is less than a set threshold, the Arduino generates control signals to the L293D motor driver to decrease the speed of the motors or to completely stop the motors in an ABS-like intelligent braking process.When there is no obstacle sensed, the car operates normally under motor control. The solar panel also charges the 12V battery while it is in use, and an LED indicator reports when solar charging is in use. The voltage regulator (7805) provides a stable 5V power source for the Arduino and ultrasonic sensor, and the 12V battery powers the motors directly through the motor driver.This combined strategy proves automatic braking, use of renewable energy, and smart collision avoidance—demonstrating a great solution for future intelligent vehicles.
