Blues With A Buddy - Slow Blues In E Rhythm

This is a blues guitar lesson for beginners... if you can already play pretty well this will probably be really easy, but you still may find something new that you dig on.

The situation is this... you find yourself playing with a buddy. It's just the two of you, no band, and you're just going to play some guitar. What do you play?

Inevitably, the standard "Blues In E" comes up and one person plays rhythm while the other plays a lead, then you switch. Typically each person takes 2 choruses.

So if it's not your turn to solo, you'll need something a bit more interesting than the basic blues in E to play, and that's where this lesson comes in. There are enough subtle rhythm variations in this to keep it interesting, while still keeping good time, keeping the 12 bar blues form nice and clear, and keeping your interest while your friend solos.
