Jodi Arias Now Remembers Travis Was Conscious When She Slit His Throat – Parting Shot to His Family?

In a shocking moment of Jodi Arias’ sentencing hearing, Jodi said that she now remembered the moment when the knife went into Travis' throat and that he was conscious when it happened. Throughout the entire trial she had denied remembering the stabbing, claiming that she was in a memory fog because of PTSD, even bringing in multiple expert witnesses testifying on the brain & supporting the PTSD claim. With this one statement Jodi is essentially saying that a significant part of her defense that she has steadfastly stood by, the PTSD defense, was a farce. How much more does Jodi remember about the murder? Since the slit throat occurred near the end, she probably remembers everything.

One has to wonder why Jodi would bring something like that up at a time like this. Was it a final vicious parting shot at Travis' friends & family? It came immediately after Travis’ family had just finished telling the court how they were suffering just by thinking how much Travis may have suffered. Prosecutor Juan Martinez said that in his communications with the family, they said they could feel Travis' pain and could only hope he was unconscious when Jodi took that knife for the last time. Seemingly out of nowhere, Jodi made it pretty clear that Travis WAS conscious when that happened. Just before saying this, Jodi said that she would have testified to it during the trial. What was holding her back then?
