When friends invited James, who has Down Syndrome, to join them in the gymnasium, ostensibly to show off his dancing skills, he had no idea what they had planned for him: a surprise invitation by Maisy to the high school prom!
Watch as his friends lead him from the street into Glenelg High School, down the school corridors and into the gym - where the surprise awaits him - accompanied by the cheers of students surrounding him!
We LOVE this. It's meaningful not only for the love being showered on James - but for the mirror of a school with LOVING, SUPPORTIVE KIDS - there are MORE out there than we hear on TV reports.
