XRF for Plating Bath Solution Analysis

XRF analysis is a fast and highly accurate way to test plating bath solutions without dilution, digestion, or titration. Bowman XRF systems measure all 3 critical metrics that are critical for consistent, high quality plating: plating solution concentration, deposit thickness and sample composition.

To perform a solution analysis, fill a Bowman solution cup with a sample from the plating tank. Place the Mylar film and lid on top, and place the cup in the XRF chamber, like you would for any sample. Results are obtained in 60 seconds or less. Metal concentrations can be measured down to approximately 100ppm and often lower.
