When I think of that wondrous day
When my sins were washed away
When my savior took my place on Calvary
When I look upon that cross
Knowing that all was not lost
I can only reckon that he made me free

Freedom is ringing over my life

Freedom that comes only from Christ
When I look upon that tree
Knowing that he did it for me
Freedom is ringing over my life
When I think of that beautiful tomb
That’s the place that buried sin’s gloom
So that I could be made righteous in his sight
When I think of those three days
Knowing that he would be raised
I know sin and death and satan lost the fight
When I remember that he rose
Defeating and conquering all my foes
I know that he lives to give me eternal life
Now he’s sitting on God’s right
Advocating for my plight
So that we all may live righteous in his sight
