Another day and another batch of Springbank 15 year old - released the same time as the most recent run of Springbank releases (Longrow 18, Springbank 12, Springbank 10 Amontillado). Batch is stamped 15.08.24.
In my opinion another successful batch of the 15 year old - fruity forward with red apple, tropical fruit notes like sweet pineapple and mango, strawberry, raspberry, touch of lemon citrus, raisins, dried fruits, leather, mustiness, sweet & sour, brine, chalky minerality and whispers of dirty, Campbeltown sootiness/smoke. I have 2 other bottles that I will do a comparison video on soon. For me this batch definitely errs on the fruitier side, with a backdrop of sherry goodness. If you can find it I do recommend you get it. Hope you enjoy the review guys :)
